Beautiful 210mm forged Japanese "Ryoba" saw

This vintage saw is hand-forged. It is vintage and imported directly from Japan. Its blade length is 210mm (cutting area). It is new and in perfect condition. The saw is of AAA* quality.

This Nokogiri (saw) is hand-forged. It is therefore sharpenable; I also sell files designed for this purpose. It has excellent edge retention thanks to its carbon steel. It is intended for advanced users, as it must be used correctly to avoid damaging it (no curving...). It is perfect for cutting small sections and making small joints.

This saw is highly effective for all cabinetmaking and luthier work in particular. It is supplied without a handle. Making a handle is a fairly simple operation. I will provide advice on how to do this. I would like to clarify that I will only sell this saw to experienced users who have already cut their teeth on other saws. Thank you for your understanding. 

Unlike European saws, Japanese saws are pulled rather than pushed like our handsaws. This maneuverability allows for more precise and straighter cuts.

Here is my rating system for the quality of forged saws: AAAA, AAA, AA, A, B, C.

AAAA: zero defects, excellent craftsmanship.

AAA: zero defects, excellent craftsmanship but may have a patina due to storage.

AA: zero defects, good craftsmanship and has a patina due to storage. 

A: good craftsmanship and slight oxidation in places due to storage.

B: standard craftsmanship and slight oxidation in places due to storage.

C: oxidation on part of the teeth. 

These saws must be greased (camellia oil) as often as possible and stored away from humidity. Also, avoid working if your workshop is too cold (>10°C). I would like to specify that all these saws must only be used to cut wood and not bamboo or plastics. (Yes, some people have tried...).
