This Japanese scissors "Tataki Nomi" has a width of 15mm and a length of 300mm. It is a tool directly imported from Japan.It is a scissors of the famous Shokunin (master) "Ouchi" of the city of Miki, with its symbol of the crossed double leaf, the scissors are authentic.
The iron is made of hand-forged two-layer carbon white steel (white steel 1), there is a thick layer of hard steel (a guarantee of quality). The Ura (shape at the back of the iron) has a slight egg shape (the easiest to sharpen). Like any new chisel, sharpening is to be expected. I can do this service for 20€ more (in this width it is quite long). Here the iron is still sharp there has been a brief sharpening. Before the recent period the blacksmiths did not sharpen the chisels completely. The ferrule has been adjusted.
