This Japanese knife called "Shirabiki" is intended for marking wood. It is produced by the "Fujiwara" brand in Miki and directly imported from Japan.
The blade is 15mm wide and 172mm long. The cutting edge is 19mm and its thickness is about 2.8mm. The blade is made of high-carbon steel forged in two layers. It has a beautiful file finish and the forge black is intense. The ura (hollow at the back) is particularly well done.
